Project health analysis and needs/risk assessment
Identifying and analysing specific health hazards and recommending how to manage them — including independent design and support for project medical services; review of medical-services providers and their capacity to deliver quality, cost-effective care (with logistical, contractual and referral recommendations); duty-of-care advice for travellers and expatriate employees; and advice on medical emergency response plans, systems and evacuations.
Health service audit and health improvement plan
As SHAPE does not provide site-based medical services itself, it independently assesses the structure, functionality and effectiveness of site-based medical services using a dedicated tool, producing health improvement plans. This is especially useful for clients who self-perform medical services and lack an internal means to assure quality and cost-effectiveness, and for clients who outsource and cannot easily review their providers independently.
Occupational health and hygiene risk assessment and management
With occupational health qualifications in the core team and specialist occupational hygiene partners, SHAPE supports qualitative and quantitative occupational hygiene risk assessments, the development of occupational health management systems for fitness-to-work and risk-based medical surveillance, and well-being programmes addressing non-communicable disease, fatigue and mental health.
